A visit to Utah’s national parks can feel like a journey to another planet, designed to ignite your inner sense of adventure, and leave you daydreaming about your adventure for years to come. Here are some quick tips on making sure that you get the best possible experience when visiting with the whole family.
Remember to Visit the Arches National Park
If you’re looking for potentially the most incredible views that Utah has to offer, then you need to visit Moab and the Arches National Park. Whether you drive up to Delicate Arch, walk down to Park Avenue, there are countless amazing sights to see. However, we recommend that you pack some water and snacks for the day if you want to keep the little ones happy, as it can get quite warm.
The good news is that there are plenty of places that you can stop to stock up on supplies if you run out early.

Plan a Day or Two in Canyonlands
Canyonlands National Park is divided into four distinct districts, so you might need a little extra time to explore, particularly if you’re traveling with people who need extra rest. Before you reach the Canyonlands entrance, we recommend that you take a slight detour to Dead Horse Point state park, and hit up the lookout.
This is sure to give you a view you’ll never forget.
Drive the entire road through the park, and make sure that you take breaks to hop out and take some pictures from time to time.
Join a Guided Tour of Monument Valley
With iconic sandstone monuments looming in the distance, and classic tumbleweed blowing across the valley, you’re sure to feel like you’ve stepped straight into an old western flick at Monument Valley. To get the most out of the experience, consider taking a guided tour throughout your destination. The road here is a little bumpy, but if you drive carefully you can always go it alone and see what the valley has to offer.
Watch the Sunrise at Bryce National Park
Finally, make sure that before you go home, you take the time to go and watch the sunrise at Bryce national park. A visit here feels as though you’re walking into a fairytale, with so many amazing shades of red, pink, and orange to enjoy. This park is like nothing you’ll ever experience. As the sun rises, it will look like the pink and orange hoodoos are setting the landscape ablaze.
